What is an E-book? : E-books (electronic books) are full-text books in digital form that can be read online.  E-books are readable on computers, smartphones, and e-readers.

Yes, they are books and you can use them in your research!

E-books on a variety of subjects may be found by searching the Sidney Silverman Library catalog (www.bergen.edu/library). 

Just look for the red e-book icon in your results. 

Finding an e-book can be helpful when the print book you need is already checked out to another patron, or when you need to find information you can access off-campus.
