ALP Level 3 Writing Algorithms : Source Types

Source Types

Information comes from different sources.  We are going to look at magazines, newspapers, and trade journals.  This will eliminate the research studies. Because we put 2020 on the previous search page we will only be looking at articles from the past 36 months.

After you limit your source types, work with your partner to find one article that will help you to understand more about algorithms + your chosen subtopic (kids, needle fallacy, or fake news).

Choosing an Article

Once you look at your search results and settle on an article that look interesting and helpful, do the following:

  1. Print the article
  2. Save your article
  3. Record the citation on your worksheet, just click "Cite".
  4. Record the reason for your choice on your worksheet.
