Getting Ready

For this assignment we will use a worksheet to collect our information.  At the end, you will send the information to your Professor and continue with the research process.

Begin

Open the Chapter 1 file in one tab and the worksheet link in another tab.  When you are done you will have three tabs open.

Step 1 - Finding a Research Topic

This book chapter is interesting but what is the research topic? 

Let us begin the research process by THINKING. 

At this point you have read the chapter and are ready to research something. The pink highlighted text focuses on the United States side of the Rio Grande River.  The blue highlighted text focuses on the Mexico side of the River.

Do the following:

  1. Add your name to the worksheet.
  2. Decide if you want to research the Pink or Blue.  
  3. Make your selections
