ALP Level 3 Chapter 1: Source Types

Source Types

Information comes from different sources.  We are going to look at magazines, newspapers, and trade journals.  This will eliminate the research studies.

If you have more than 1,000 hits you might consider limiting the date to the past three years.

After you limit your source types, work with your partner to find one article that will help you to understand more about your subtopic and the politics that surround the event, place, or landmark.

Choosing an Article

Once you look at your search results and settle on an article that look interesting and helpful, do the following:

  1. Save your article
  2. Record the citation on your worksheet, just click "Cite".
  3. Record the reason for your choice on your worksheet.
