You need to find articles that give information related to the topic you are researching. Ideally, they will give facts and information that answer the questions you developed.
The library's databases can help you to locate sources (articles) that will give you that information. Here are the ones we want to suggest:
See below for a little more information on each of the databases, or just follow the links and get started.
If you have questions or get stuck, please email Prof. Lynn Schott, the librarian. You can also get in touch with any Bergen librarian, using the "Help" tab on the left.
Academic Search Premier is a great article database for all kinds of topics. This is good because you can find many different articles, but can also be harder to work with because there will be a lot of results. Use some of the database tools to make picking articles a little easier.
Be sure to save or copy the citation for the article(s) you choose. This database will create one for you in MLA!
If you find it difficult to work with Academic Search Premier, don't give up! Just ask the librarian. Prof. Lynn Schott is happy to help students with this assignment.
Like Academic Search Premier, ProQuest Central covers a lot of topics.
Be sure to save or copy the citation for the article(s) you choose. This database will create one for you in MLA!
If you find it difficult to work with ProQuest Central, don't give up! Just ask the librarian.
