Get the Details on the Research & Researcher(s)

Now that you've found an article describing someone else's research:

  • make sure you note the name of the scientists and where they are working
  • be prepared to use keywords to describe what they have done -- spelling counts, so be careful in your notes
  • look for evidence of the timing of their work (this year, over ten years ago, etc.)
  • watch for actual citations to their research articles in specific publications
