Search Google More Effectively
You can filter your Google search results by using [site:.org] or [site:.edu] and your topic. For example, to find non-profit sites on banned books and their effects on children, search [site:.org banned books and children and effects]. A pre-formatted search is below.
- Google NewsFind news articles about book banning in specific places or for your specific title. These articles may summarize why particular titles are being challenged.
Search Databases
In ProQuest and ASP, remember to use the filtering options on the left of your results page. You can limit your sources and publication dates.
