The Archives maintains a collection of original print and a growing set of digitized copies of the student newspapers. The original student newspaper, The Monitor, was published from January 1969 to February-March 1993. From November 1976 through Summer 1995, the newpaper was titled The Bergen Monitor. The student newspaper was launched as The Torch in September 1995. Since September 1995, The Torch has been printed in color.
