Welcome to Urban Fiction
Urban Fiction is sometimes referred to as "street lit.", "hip hop fiction" or "ghetto lit." As its name implies, stories generally take place in an urban/city setting, and the main characters, usually in their teens and 20's, are often involved with crime, gang violence or prostitution in order to survive.
Urban fiction tends to be fast-paced, and it is easy to get absorbed in the stories of these characters' lives.
