PRINT BOOKS

To search for books, e-books, and media use the search box under Search for articles, books, and more on the Library homepage.  To search for an item on a specific subject, a keyword search is often the best choice, eg. oral health and diet. 

 You will need to note the Location, Call Number and Status of the item to find it (unless it is an e-book, which is available online). Locations:  Many course textbooks are in the Reserve Collection at the Service Desk.  Other science and health books are on the Upper Floor.

Call Numbers:

The call number of the book determines where the book is on the shelves. Most books on dental topics have call numbers beginning with RK.   

Status:

• Available: Not currently checked out.
• Due: item is checked out and due back on the date given. A hold can be placed on the item and when it is returned the Library will contact you. Do this at the Service Desk.

Borrowing:

A current Bergen Community College ID is required for borrowing.

Reference and Reserve books are for library use only.

 Feel free to ask a Library staff member for help searching for books.
